Silver Premium for Toma Piemontese PDO at WCA 2021

The World Cheese Awards 2021 — the “Olympics of cheese”, organized as always by the UK’s Guild of Fine Food and now in its 33rd edition — took place in Oviedo, Spain, with record-breaking numbers.

The first selection was carried out by a jury of journalists, experts, and professionals, divided into teams, who scored all competing cheeses based on visual appearance, structure, texture, aroma, and finally, taste.

Our Toma Piemontese by Botalla impressed the jury, earning the Silver award in the PDO cheeses category.

Made exclusively with Piedmontese cow’s milk from selected farms, it is a cheese with a sweet, full flavor — a perfect ambassador of Piedmont’s cheesemaking tradition.

This important international recognition highlights the value of a supply chain built on tradition, professionalism, and the quality of raw materials.
