Silver premium for De’ Floris at World Cheese awards 2019

Italy has hosted for the first time ever the renowned World Cheese Awards, a veritable Cheese’s Olympics, within the event “Forme” (“Shapes”), organized in Bergamo and dedicated to the top quality dairy art. The World Cheese Awards 2019 has been a spectacular edition, with 3.804 cheeses in competition, coming from 6 continents, with 42 countries participating from Italy to Japan. Italy has brought 845 kinds of cheese to the competition.

Among all these amazing products, the best in the world, Botalla has achieved an extraordinary Silver Premium Award in the “New hard/semi-hard cheese” category with De’ Floris, one of the newest cheeses created using Piedmontese milk only, enhanced with mixed flowers and aged on pinewood boards. A result that fills us with pride and that we want to share with all of those who assist us daily in our work. Thank you to everyone. Great results for Botalla at the World Cheese Awards 2019
